Fascism, Democracy, and the Workplace

  1. We grow the food. We sow the seeds, harvest the crop. Feed and water the livestock. We bake the bread, butcher and dress the meat. We prepare the feast, set the table and serve the food. They eat and drink, then throw us whatever scraps they feel like tossing and demand that we be thankful to them for it. It is less like "fascism", which by definition means everything - including the corporate structure - acts in the best interest of the state. What is going on in the USA is more like corporate feudalism with the labor class as nothing more than peasants.

  2. You are correct. It's a matter of semantics.

I think it's useful to think of Corporations as nations. The USA is in service of global capitalism. Global Capitalism is a stateless totalitarian empire.
